Sharaé Moultrie is an actor, singer, and world traveler. She is currently based in New York City and has had the pleasure of performing for audiences around the world.
Sharaé discovered her vocal talent at a young age after singing her first solo in church. “I couldn’t believe the reactions of the congregation. At that moment, I knew that music would allow me to connect with people in a special way,” she says.
Since then, her gifts have afforded her the opportunity to perform on stages across the globe. Some of her favorite musical theater roles include Deena Jones (Dreamgirls, International Tour), Emmie Thibodeaux (Caroline, or Change), and Lady Larken (Once Upon A Mattress). She’s performed at several music festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the largest arts festival in the world. She’s also sung at renowned NYC venues such as Feinstein’s/54Below, Joe’s Pub at the Public, and the Bitter End. Sharaé is a commercial model and has been featured in several print ad campaigns.
Sharaé is a native of Conway, South Carolina. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with degrees in Finance and International Business and minors in Theatre and Spanish.
